EVALUATION |

The
evaluation of varicose veins includes the not only the assessment
of the abnormal varicose veins, but an assessment of any medical
and surgical factors that could have an effect upon our treatment
plan and its outcome. Therefore, a basic history and physical examination
is first performed, followed by a duplex ultrasound examination
to focus specifically on the problem veins.
